A Lancashire church has been named one of the best charity holiday stays in the UK in a list by The Guardian.
Saint Leonard’s church in Old Langho in the Ribble Valley features alongside nine other accommodation options in the list.
If you’re looking for somewhere new to stay, this church could be one to add to your to-visit list.

The Guardian says: “Whether you wince at the word ‘champing’ or not, it’s hard to disagree with the concept of camping overnight in redundant historic churches to help fund their preservation.”
It adds that the 16th-century church is located at Old Langho and that it’s “one of 20 such sacred spaces across the UK that are now open to the public for overnight stays between April and November.”
Those who stay there won’t need to worry about disrupted sleep from the sound of church bells though because although it’s consecrated, it is now in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust, The Guardian explains.
