MTV’s Jersey Shore Family Vacation reunion episode recap

Do you believe in owls?
Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi explained her reaction to an owl outside her room when the roomies visited El Paso this past season during the “Jersey Shore Family Vacation” reunion of Thursday, Oct. 20.
The owl sent Nicole and fellow Meatball Deena Cortese into a tizzy on the July 21 episode.
“I didn’t know owls were a real thing,” Nicole said. “Just because I’ve never seen an owl actually outdoors. You see them on a TV or you see them in a zoo.”
“So you thought it was a mystical creature,” asked host Justina Valentine
“I never seen one on the back of my house hooting,” Nicole said.

Nicole and Deena spent the night hooting in response.
“I’m the one who rented that house,” said Pauly DelVecchio. “I had to deal with the HOA after that — all the neighbors wrote a letter.”
The two-hour reunion featured a recapping of the past season, taco making and a few cast quizzes. The abbreviated return of Ronnie Oritiz-Magro on the Aug. 11 episode was not discussed. Ronnie, who did not appear on the reunion, was arrested on suspicion of intimate partner violence in April 2021 in Los Angeles, but avoided jail when a judge determined that the time he spent in treatment was significant enough to forgo a sentence behind bars.

The arrest came after another domestic violence arrest in 2019.
Things became heated when Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino walked out after he accused Angelina Pivarnick of not being forthcoming enough on the show about her personal life, which was a main focus of the past season.
Angelina, who lives in Freehold Township, and Chris Larangeira recently divorced.
“You signed up for this 14 years ago,” Mike said. “You get paid to talk about your (blanking) life! You play the victim all the time. Don’t be fooled by somebody who plays the victim in the storm that they created.”
Mike then stormed off the set before returning to hug it out with Angelina.
“That was a flip-the-table moment,” Pauly D said.
